My name is Vihaan Garg I'm a Student

I’m Vihaan Garg, a 17-year-old student at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad. I’m the founder & CEO of GlassUp, a social startup that aims to repurpose glass waste into premium products of renewed value and use. I am also the president & founder of the Western Music Appreciation Club in my school and the lead guitarist of the school band. This year I have been elected school captain and am honoured to have been given this role to lead and inspire my fellow students and peers.

Music is my passion, and As a musician, I have completed all eight levels of Trinity Rock & Pop and passed my grade 8 exam with distinction; I have participated in many band performances & competitions with my school band and have even been appointed as a judge for a clash of bands inter-school competition hosted by my school recently.

As an entrepreneur, I have successfully launched a social startup called GlassUp which strives to recreate glass waste into premium products like fragranced candles, platters and vases.GlassUp has a sub-brand called Cherish, a collection of fragranced candles & vases handcrafted by differently-abled members of an organisation called Cheshire Home. All profits made by Glassup are given to Cuddles ( An association that helps to nourish children fighting against cancer ) & to Cheshire Home for the residents who create these beautiful products for us with their skills.
