GlassUp is a social startup and our aim is two fold… besides taking a step to create a positive environmental impact we also hope to give back to society by donating our profits to Cuddles Foundation. Cuddles Foundation was Established in 2013 and has been working with government and charity cancer hospitals, enabling them with trained pediatric oncology nutritionists and food aid so that more children may win the battle against childhood cancer.
Another initiative by GlassUp is to empower and upskill differently abled people by launching a sub brand called Cherish by GlassUp which is a collection of upcycled candles and glass vases made by the residents of Cheshire Home Delhi (Home for the Disabled) We conduct regular workshops at Cheshire Home Delhi to upskill their existing abilities and help them to create these beautiful fragranced candles for sale… once again GlassUp donates all the profits made by the collection Cherish to residents of Cheshire Home Delhi
Reducing carbon footprint
The broken glass halves & unused bottles are collected and sent for recycling to bigger factories so that they do not land up in landfills
